The BC Activity Reporter (BCAR) is the province’s central source of sport and recreation participation data. The online tools and reports found in BCAR aim to strengthen program planning in communities throughout the province. Register with BCAR and create custom reports for your neighbourhood or your municipality, or to make province-wide comparisons, on recreational activities, sport membership data, community demographics and sport and recreation facility locations. 2010 Legacies Now and the Province of British Columbia developed BCAR to collect and measure activity levels across the province, and provide the online tools free of charge to participating provincial sport organizations and municipal parks and recreation departments.
